Great Digital Experiences with Deadwood Revival Design

Deadwood Revival Design is a one of a kind business run by a bunch of excellent folks who know exactly what to do to stand out in the digital space. When you talk about a company that is hitting the mark consistently in terms of their marketing, stellar quality and attention to detail in a high end product and great personality, you look to Deadwood Revival Design. From one visit to their website you know exactly who they are and what they are about because they show you. They have so much great content that gives you an insight exactly into who they are and what they do. Stunning photographs, excellent biographies and a warm introduction to the people behind the brand that folks can connect with and form a community with.

In terms of their website being a digital storefront for their business they could not be doing it any better. On the website you have a fully functional shop showing everything that's in stock including the grade, species and much more. It is so easy to navigate that you find yourself putting way too much on hold because it's just so easy to shop for your dream products. The best part is that you can do it all from the comfort of your couch. That's taking care of your customers' digital experience.

Stunning Visuals and Captivating Videos

Another aspect the Deadwood Revival design is absolutely killing it on is their photography, available products page and Instagram feed. They reference the raw materials and their finished products and show the journey from tree to table in an especially stunning way.

However, we also need to acknowledge the Incredible videography going on over at Deadwood Revival Design. The Instagram feed is filled with awesome videos that keep you watching and wanting more and we all know how important that king of networking and social media marketing is right now.

More About DRD

Deadwood Revival Design is committed to being sustainable to the planet. They do not waste any materials and deem everything usable for some project. Another incredible part of that commitment is their partnership with American Forests. They have replanted 3006 trees in total and over 500 in 2020 alone!

Deadwood Revival design is a multi-talented company, they do sawmilling and lumber services and also specialize in welding and design services.

Deadwood Revival was also recently involved with the urban wood drying survey that is designed to create workshops specific to the urban lumber community. The project was done in collaboration with the North Carolina State University Wood Products extension and the Environmental Center of San Luis Obispo, partnered with Deadwood Design under a Cal Fire Grant.

The iDRY Kiln Journey

The crew are also proud iDRY Kiln users and the eye-catching photos and videos on their feed let everyone be a part of their kiln journey. We sent them a video of us building their machine and this was the nice comment they posted along with the video;

“Today we receive Full Circle’s new iDRY Plus made by @idrywoodfast . Check out this video of our machine being built at the iDRY factory in Vermont. They manufacture the entire thing, from beginning to end, at their facility. Incredible!

There are many methods and different machines used to dry wood. The most accessible and foundational method is air drying. For the purposes of making interior furniture the target is around 8% moisture content. Air drying can only get you so far. The next step would be to use a kiln. Vacuum kilns can dry most woods at a rate of 1 inch per week. This means a 3 inch board could potentially dry in 3 weeks!

Can’t wait to get this thing in the building!”

And on delivery day!

“The iDRY delivery/installation was a success! Big shout out to @braggcrane for doing a flawless job while making it look easy. Watching it was a whole lot of fun!

This incredible piece of equipment was funded by Cal Fire as part of their Urban and Community Forestry Grant Programs, using CCI funds. It is part of the Full Circle grant initiative that we were awarded earlier this year with our nonprofit partner @ecoslo.

This equipment will be used to accomplish many important objectives. As part of the #thefullcircleapproach we will be creating a lumber donation program for local schools. We take local trees, turn them into beautiful urban lumber which will then be donated to our local schools and universities as part of the project. We will also engage with students and talk to them about this local resource that often ends up in landfills and wood chip piles.”
